| (...) Hmm. I had assumed I could programme the RCX using a palm (via the RIS tower). However, after reading your post, and a good deal of the other 56 messages in this group, it appears this is not the case. I already have a LEGO remote, so that (...) | The short answer is it doesn't really matter.....'cause none of the Palm or Handspring units really work directly with the RCX. If there is a Holy Grail to this robotics/Palm group, it would be the successful programming of the Palm IrDA port to (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.palm, lugnet.robotics)
| | | | Which Palm?

| Is there a list of Palms which I can use with my RCX etc? I am thinking of getting used one just to use with my RCX - but I don't want to by the "wrong" one. I'm grateful for any help given... as always. Scott A (25 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics.palm, lugnet.robotics)

| (...) I am in need of the sqrt function on RCX. I understand that I have to build the function by myself. But it would be great if the math.h and library could be integrated into the legOS. Does anyone know about this? or having other suggestion? (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

|
| everyone knows that radio shack is giving away cue cats free, don't they? The cue cat is an optical reader used for reading barcodes. Inside the cat is a light sensor that might be useful for robotics. I think the light sensor in the cat is fairly (...) (25 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | Re: web-legOS back online

| (...) Three things, all related to the new way 0.2 manages programs: 1) 0.2.x has a separate kernel which must be uploaded prior to any legOS programs, making the procedure somewhat more complex. 2) 0.2.x program files are in a binary format rather (...) (URL) notes: - The tracks are longer than the RIS tracks, but still too short. - The original support structure from Cybermaster looks awful, due to its wedge shape. - The (...)
