You might take a look around at http://www.phobe.com/furby/ or
http://www.homestead.com/hackfurby/ There is (was? they're a few years
old) a fairly active hacking community. The autopsy theme alone is worth
visiting the first site for. Complete with toe tags. You'll find a
complete schematic and some info on the IR protocol on the second.

Has anyone scrapped a furby for use with an rcx? There are many
components inside furbies that would make good sensor components, tilt
sensors, sound sensors, swithes, ect. Does anyone have thoughts on this
and has anyone succsefuly taken apart a furby and used it's guts for
lego robotics?
