| I had a great idea. I'm not sure if anyone has done this before, but I have found a way to make one motor drive four (or more) axles, individually! The downside is that only one axle can be rotated at a time and in only one direction, and I'm having (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| Hello, I designed just such a drive, using worm gears instead of ratchets. It does, unfortunately, take a tiny amout of time to shift between moving forward and spinning in place.
