I was over on /. weighing in on the current
controversy over Digital Convergence's CueCat barcode
scanner and their current legal fiasco over some Linux
developers creating an open-source driver and the
accompanying high-speed crosscheck it delivered to
their (weak) business model, and I thought of
something --
How about someone writing a program to use a CueCat to
take barcodes for Codepilot systems (you can still
download the software from Lego, right?) and convert
it to VLL codes for DDK/DSDK MicroScout 'bots?
