Fry's Electronics has a toolbox section where they have this stackable unit.
You can buy 1 to n tiers. They stack on top of each other and latch
together. Each tier has a drawer with a latching lid that pulls out of the
tier. The drawer is broken up into four rows and comes with lots of slide-in
partitions to make "columns".
My friend who I stole the idea from also has a traditional tool/tackle box
on the top with a handle to carry the whole stack around. Buy more blocks,
get another tier. I have four now and they aren't all full, and I have yet
to run out of any one kind of block for the 'bots I've been playing with.
Yes, they're catproof if you keep the lids latched.
