This thread has gotten more interesting than I expected!
I've started a "Robot Diaries" section of
www.wordsmithdigital.com/mindstorms/ to track day-to-day (mostly)
development of my at-work robot project. My CTO, Kevin Ilsen, is helping out
by supplying digital camera photos. (I'm haggling with a friend of mine on
purchasing a very decent one that he won online.) The goal is to provided a
detailed account and photos of the development of this [and other] robot[s]
and its various accoutrements. Right now I have two days' worth of bulleted
points, and one photos, but I'll be elaborating over the weekend. There are
some marvelous finished projects out on the Web, but not as much in the way
of "play by play" coverage about problems one runs into and the evolution of
design. This keys into an interest of mine-the learning
(discovery/invention) process when one builds Lego robots.
The diaries can be accessed directly at
www.wordsmithdigital.com/mindstorms/diaries.htm
Let me know what you think.

| (...) Hmm - how about sitting the camera on a stand over your work area and having your computer take a photo (say) every second while you "do" Lego? (We need a verb for Lego you know)...So there would eventually be an online movie showing (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics)
