It's bad enough trying to explain to friends and family why I play with
Lego, but the ultimate humiliation came when I was down on all fours,
nose down, rear end up, pursuing a roach to study. You set me up, right?
The marvel of engineering tucked in its antennae, bypassed its bumper
sensor subroutine, suspended event/error checking, geared up to pure
panic mode, and crashed the wall headlong dropping into Wonderland's
dark hole.
Re the fulcrum/plumb bob bumper: what happens when you hit a bump, rug,
or other slippery slope?
