This is hedging on off-topic but I thought most of us would find it
fun... From the NASA Today web page
http://www.nasa.gov/today/index.html#first_robotics:

America's future engineers -- now high school
students -- will pit their robots against one another's in
a high-tech sporting event, the annual NASA/FIRST
robotics kickoff, beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST on
Saturday. You can watch this fun event live on
NASA television and via webcast. NASA and
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science
and Technology), a non-profit corporation, sponsor the nationwide
annual competition.
