While working on Bibo, I observed some unexpected differences between GCC 3.4.6 and gcc 4.4.1. Specifically, one of the XS Lisp demo programs that is fine when built with 3.4.6 is too large (section .bss not within region ram) when built with 4.4.1. (...)
