NQC works like a charm. I take it Ubuntu users prefer a IDE to simplify things. But coding in NQC is not so bad. Open up gedit and code away! (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-08, to lugnet.robotics)

NQC will run under linux. Unfortunately my preferref IDE- bricXCC does not work under WINE. (It seems to work for everything except the communication to the brick part). Rob A. (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-08, to lugnet.robotics)

So, I am delurking after a year or so to ask if anyone has seen a good way to work with the RCX on Linux. I have available to me RS232 and USB towers, RCX versions 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0, ROBOLAB versions 1.0 through 2.9 (plus bug fix), RIS2.0, as well (...) (17 years ago, 22-Aug-08, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi The 1.05 sources have been changed toward compatibility with a gcc-toolchain.
