  RE: cool robot

Wow, that's very cool! It's hard to get a sense of scale from the video -- how tall is the robot? What technology are you using for the balancing? I would think this to be quite difficult with the standard NXT set, but maybe possible with some (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

I searched for the dinosaur set on Brickshelf and got a fuzzy pic of the box. Apart from the elements you mention there appears to be a white box which could be a sound system. Can you explain what it is and how it ties into all of this? linmix (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Power Functions Element Pics (inc Plugs)

(...) I can't say that I am a fan of the "permanent wires" or the connector end itself, but perhaps I just don't like change. I wonder if there will be extension cables for sale? Actually the more I think about it, the more I forsee the attached (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: BrickFest™ PDX 2007 - Robotic Easter Egg Hunt

(...) There have been inquiries as to the number of eggs that will be used. The answer is that "one bag" of eggs will be scattered around. The bag pictured is a 9.2-ounce bag, but so far this year I've only been able to find 11-ounce bags. The (...) (19 years ago, 28-Feb-07, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  cool robot

it's not lego, but here's a robot I'm working on: (URL) I think a balancing biped can be built with NXT. It's an open challenge! -dbm (19 years ago, 27-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics)

The rarest colour in LEGO - grey on a NXT?

It seems some people thought I wasn't serious. A monochrome display is just black or white, isn't it? (2 URLs) And in case you're wondering, I can tell you that the foreground scenery does lazily scroll past the logo, in parallax with the background (...)   Re: Optimizing NXT-G blocks with implementation VI constants

(...) Excellent. Now if I can just pull myself out of the time-sucking hole of the family laundry (and other stuff) to learn it... Thanks for putting all this up, Guy. (19 years ago, 27-Feb-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

pbLua: how to download and run?

Hi all, I'm still trying to get pbLua running on my brick. I've installed the LuaEclipse plugin which allows me to write (pb)Lua files in Eclipse with a decent editor support and written some programs. Yet, I still have absolutely no clue how to (...)
