  Re: WORDLIST

(...) Long time no see:) Below is source for .S DUMP WORDS and SEE. Usage of the individual words should be basically clear, but I have some remarks nontheless: - Those words were originally embedded in a collection of words that I always load. I (...)   Re: External power supply ?

(...) It sounds like what you're wanting to do is to effectively turn a battery-powered RCX into the rough equivalent of a multi-function smart-solenoid. All final output devices (lights, motors, etc.) are powered by switched 9v AC supplies, and the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Balancing robots

How does a balancing robot like Legway balance on a patterned floor? Or can it? I've got some of the way there. My understanding from reading the web descriptions of various projects is that you _ought_ to measure - angle of tilt - rate of change (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: RIS 2.0 USB Tower freezing on XP

(...) I posted solutions/work-arounds on the 17th: (URL) needs to be uninstalled. I've never had to choose "compatibility" mode or force 256 colors (even before the HT issue). - Rob (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: External power supply ?

(...) Right. But that's not what I was asking or suggesting. The idea was...elave the RCX2.0 as is on batteries. Run some other devices off of whatever power source, but control that power source via program logic from the RCX. The RCX could run (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: BrickOS Assembler

  Re: BrickOS Assembler

(...) Glad to help! (...) However, it *does* work for bytes... See the program below. In your example program, you declared the "total" variable as an unsigned short (which is a 16-bit word), but accessed it using an 8-bit move instruction. Instead, (...)   Re: BrickOS Assembler

(...) PERFECT. That was exactly what I was looking for. Clearly, the @_variablename method only works for words and not bytes. This had been my problem. Thanks very much. And thanks to everyone else who contributed too... I'm just a sucker for the (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
