I finally got some pictures uploaded of my biped made from the 8455 set. This model is built from the parts of one 8455 set. The hoses are not from the set, so your colors may vary. It took quite a while to find geometries that work using the 8455 (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

I just found this and I thought it was pretty cool. The vehicles being used here are on the scale of things like older SUVs, not LEGO bots... but it's still cool. LA to Vegas over rough terrain, autonomously... winner (of 100ish teams entered) gets (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.robotics)
