I don't think saying "I have something that may appear to be a bomb" is a wise idea... but it may be a good way to get your 10 seconds of fame on the news. Perhaps FedEx is a better approach... you can ship the item to yourself and have it held at a (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I think as long as nothing is on, it will be fine. You may have a problem with corrupted firmware though - will there be a computer there to upload new firmware/programs if needed? Does anyone know if the new checked-baggage xray equipment is likely to damage the kinds of microprocessors in RCXs etc. There have been specific statments that the new equipment *will* damage film. hi Manfred, this looks great, finally a "real" freeware version (I never succeeded in getting the other (Belgium) freeware). Just started the program and try to run it with a very old Dynalink camera under winXP, it worked right away. I don't have a (...) (23 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.robotics.vc)
