I have a notebook mitsubishi, Amity CN wich has a USB port and an IR port. Does anybody know how can I use it to program RCX. Windows doesn't recognize the USB port and I don't know if installing the Lego software would. I could probably use the IR (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

There's one way for solving the problem with multiple IR communications at the same time. The method used for old computer networks is called a "token" wich is passed from PC to PC giving each one a chance to "speak". This could also be used for (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Hello - In the past I have burned out serial port towers, so I recently acquired the USB version of the IR tower. I did not realize that NQC makes use of the lego driver - it is looking like I have to purchase an entire RIS just to get Ghost. Is (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
