Hi, I'm trying to find a Terminal Emulator that can access the IR Tower thru a USB port. So far, the ones I found can access only a serial port (COMx). Any suggestions? Thanks Mario (23 years ago, 8-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

i'm looking into the posiblities of replacement firmware and was wondering how hard it would be to learn java and what would be the best way to acomplish this (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

(...) You can program each RCX independantly. You need to turn one off or put it out the way of the IR tower while you are downloading the program to the other of course!) That much is pretty obvious - but where the fun comes is when you get the two (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Take a look at my version of Mibo and play the GIF or AVI and you will see two RCXs operating 6 motors and 5 sensors communicating with each other with messages to synchronize the actions of the model.
