  More IR proximity detectors
 
We're trying to use the little radio shack IR transmitter and reciever units to build our own. We're not sure exactly how this will work, but before we get too far, is this a reasonable thing to do? Will these be strong enough to use as proximity (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I believe there is a problem with the theory used in the article. He talks about using the Radio Shack emitter/detectors to do some 180 deg Detection. He's talking about using multiple emitters and detectors as proximity detectors. (much like using (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
