I just built this set too and i must say i found it quite good to look at
and use.
I found the sleds stuck at the joints as well, but realised it was because
the tube that moves on the slides, was slightly off centre. Straighten it up
and they move through with no problems. I found that 2 joined tubes could be
bent 180 degress and the sled would still go through.
On the minifig problem, i believe that Lego may release more minifig sets
later.
Currently we have 7310 to 7317 (Not counting those hard to get small sets)
Thats 8 sets.
6 of them are Alien sets. only 2 are minifig sets. I believe there will be
more minifig sets later. Perhaps even another large set like 7317( perhaps a
space port for that Solar Explorer to land at :-)) Just my opinion.
I have to say i enjoy the Life on Mars series. Good fun to build with some
very useful parts.

| I don't know if any of you have laid hands on these, but they are now plentiful in sunny SoCal. So here's my review (1-10 grading scale) of a just completed 7317 LoM set: <Attractiveness (or reason I cared to get one)> -9- This set reminded me of (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)
