I bought three LOOM sets today, 7313, 7311, and 7314.
I love these things! The martians look really cute, my favourite is
Antares (in 7314).
Of the mecha, the 7314 is the best one, I think. It has arms, and can
move them up and down. 7313 has those strange propeller guns on his legs
just hanging down, wobbling and all. It doesn't even have arms.
I found out that you can make a really cool version of the 7314, by
putting the head between the legs, and then put the cylinder on the back
of the legs:
(head)(leg module)(cylinder thing)
It looks really cool then. And it's piloted by Antares!
The 7314 is not really that good, though. It has the coolest colour
scheme, but the worst design. But at least it's a mech!
7311, then. I thought it was a mech, so I was disappointed when I found
out it had only 1 leg. Well, it's pretty fun to swoosch around with, and
has the new green colour too.
These sets are a bit juniorised though, and one might argue that the
martians are incredibly ugly, though I think otherwise.
Lego will never be what it once was. But these sets are one of the best
available today.
