Review
*** out of *****
Pros: You can change the angle of the arm, good parts including a cool jungle
cat faceplate
Cons: Head/arm gear moves too slowly, resemblance to Kermit the frog
Amazon was my second Throwbot. He is okay, but not as good as Jet (*****).
The action feature of this toy is a gear that turns to move the head and arms
up and down. Unfortunately, you have to spin a tiny gear many times to make a
big gear move. Not really impressive, it looks like he's moving in slow
motion. And there's the problem of having a small body and long green legs-
he's a bit frog-like. This is more noticable in the instructions though, the
photos of him show the legs bent and it isn't as obvious. He is a quite
poseable toy. Since Amazon's body is used on Ultrarex's head, it's nescessary
to get one if you want to build Ultrarex. Amazon has good parts for building
bigger and better stuff, but on his own isn't the greatest. Reccommended to
people who already have a Throwbot and want more parts.
