6032 Catapult Crusher
approx. 55 pcs
costs $10.34 at Zellers, after the tax
The Parts
I think there are some good parts in here. The catapult bucket of course is
interesting, and a fun challenge to reuse over and over again as anything but a
catapult. (I used it in a scorpion trap, that was cool!) Also worth noting
are two black slopes, which can be used above doorways or as roof pieces in
castles. And of course the wheels (which could be other things too), if you
can find a use for those.
RATING: A
The Main Model
Well, it isn't the best looking model around. But for playability, its hard to
beat. This thing throws stuff far!!! Although four chunks of rock were
included as ammunition, I much prefer catapulting the man. The vehicle is very
sturdy and is built for play. The colours of this model are very compatable
with my Fright Knight castle, which is good since the Bulls were never given a
home.
RATING: A
Alternate Possibilities
This model excells in this category! The day I bougth this set I just kept
rebuilding it over and over again in to different things! I made a small
axe-sharpening shop, a giant scorpion trap that dropped the bucket, a gym with
a punching bag and chinup bar, a bridge of some sort, a primitive helicopter, a
bull, and even more! The suggested altenates are good too, a different mobile
catapult, a stationary catapult built into a tree, and a throne. I think this
set is just small enough to rebuild in different ways again and again, but just
big enough to offer a good ammont of cool parts. Very good. Oh and the two
4x6 plates make it not just a vehicle set.
RATING: A++
This is definately worth getting! Really fun set!
