Background:
When my first ever S@H catalouge arrived in the mail in 1994, I looked through
the pages and this was the first set that stood out. I took out the credit
card and placed my order. I love it! Eventually, I would order another one.

Resturaunt-This is the only full-service eatery LEGO has ever built,
and is truly a one-of-a-kind set that makes a great addition to your downtown
scene. The bottom consists of an outdoor seating area and a bar with ketchup
and mustard dispeners. There is also a glass entrance way with waiting room
featuring a table with flowers. There is also a kitchen with stove top, so you
can cook some yummy 1x1 tiles. One the second floor there is both balcony and
interior seating, as well as a palm tree. Panormaic views are provided by huge
curved windows, and the roof is themed with large pirate foilage pieces.
OVERALL: Another favoutie of both me and my nephew. All-in-all, we actually
have four copies of this set, though only one is built. It is a great parts
source for rare and unique pices. Why-oh-why can't LEGO make stuff like this
anymore. Why??
--------------------JUST STUFF--------------------
COOL PIECES: 1x4x6 arched window (x2, clear), 1x6x9 arched winow (x2, clear),
1x4x2 latice fences (x6, red), 1x6 arch (x1, white), 1x6x2 arch (x2, white),
1x4x5 window (x2, white w/ clear pane)
DECALS: small stripped design for lower entrance arch (x2), large stripe
design for panorama windows (x2), "Ristorante" logo (x2)
FUN FACT: Only three sets contain the large 1x6x9 arched window. All three
were introduced in 1990. Anyone care to figure out which three sets they were
(not that hard to figure out)?

My views on CLASSIC TOWN as a theme:
By far the best sets ever made. Why not again LEGO? I love them. Everything
about them is just so wonderful. Detail, piece assortments, variety. Maybe it
will happen again one day.
