[NON-PHOTOGRAPHER ALERT - I know not much beyond trying to take digital pictures
on cloudy days for better lighting.]

This looks like a handy solution to photographing small MOC's:

The desciption says the "box" is 16"x16"x16" which should fit a 32x32 baseplate.
I wonder if the same effect could be created with some cloth, a framework and a
couple of lights?

Anybody used one or have any thoughts?

(...) I haven't used a professional one, but you can get the same effect by building a frame out of PVC pipe from the hardware store, covering it with a white sheet, and using some bright desk lamps. -Elroy (19 years ago, 23-Nov-05, to lugnet.publish.photography)
