  Re: New homepage for LUGNET

(...) Ya, exactly! Some kind of attributes grid or "help me locate" or "what's out there" layout is needed. (...) Excellent, excellent, excellent idea. Yes! The homepage ought to have several languages available. (...) That could be something for (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.publish.html, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Ya, that's gotta stay. (...) It may not be broken to you, who are familiar with it and have been using it for years...but it's been pointed out by many that it can be quite confusing for first-time visitors. (...) Well, LUGNET was created to (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.publish.html, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Read those two sentences again. Someone already chooses them. Why not just grab two or three at random from that much smaller selection? Good idea though. It'd be good to see a parade of excellent models there on the homepage. (...) Another (...) (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.publish.html, lugnet.general, FTX)
