Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) That looks good, but for the moment, twomorrows don't even process orders from my part of the world. It's still plenty of time left until February 2008, so things might change. What's wrong with using lulu.com? They have printing works on this (...) (17 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) Have you checked with lulu.com? They do printing in Europe when delivering to Europe, so the shipping charges might be lower. OTOH, I don't know what that would mean for the prize of the magazine, and your margins... (17 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

(...) **cut** (...) **cut** Thank you Allan, I don't think too many could put it better than that! I totally agree with your statement, it is the side of the story as I see it too.   Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) When I look at the transition of BrickJournal from free to pay I always try to keep in mind the disaster of Bricks magazine.   Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) I have done volunteer work for quite a few things myself and my motivation is because I like to do things. Money does tend to corrupt.   Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!

(...) This was a decision that was made after it was pointed out to me by the publisher that a free issue in any form will undercut any selling issue. As for the revenue itself, it will be going to subsidizing print compendiums of back issues. I am (...) (17 years ago, 17-Oct-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 9 is OUT, as well as other news!
