Oh I’m sure I am too.

Hrmm, okay. I’ve never found my organization particularly confusing, but that’s probably because I wrote the site. :) I didn’t know anyone felt that it was confusing, thank you VERY much for pointing it out. I’ll change it in the next design. How about this? “Lego models” link in left navigation frame

List of models with adjacent preview pic for each one >> Description and
previews of each picture on the same page >> New window for each picture clicked.

Your site layout is all up to you. I would never try and tell you how it should work. I just think all lego creation websites should have the models as close to the front as possible.

Do you host your pictures on your own site? I suppose I could use the images of deep links to BSV or Brickshelf (which, I’ll admit, is superior to Brickshelf’s, but that’s kind of moot when linking).

I host my pictures on my site but you can directly link to your image files on brickshelf if you need to. This is to say a lot of people choose to have a link on their site go straight to the actual image, not the brickshelf gallery. This isn’t really the best route because it’s best to be able to click from one image to the next in sequence...not to have to hit back everytime you see an image.

Well, I’ve never seen BSV before (or if I have, I forgot about it), so I haven’t had time to play around with the features. It definitely is a better interface than Brickshelf’s, but I wouldn’t say to an extremely high degree.

BSV doesn’t take care of the biggest problems on brickshelf, but it cleans up the surface a lot.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments. Anyhow, this reminds me, when are you gonna resurrect the Shipyard? :) I loved that site.

No problem man. As for the shipyard, I have no idea. But it will come back some day in some form.
