Hello All!

From what it seems, Geekshelf is counting its days.  Go to the Geekshelf
home page and see why:

That is sad.  However, I am curious if this
is a good thing in some way.  I have heard
how BrickShelf and GeekShelf have been
exceeding thier bandwith for forever, is the
death of Geekshelf a good thing?  If all the
bandwith of Geekshelf is freed up for
Brickshelf, then horay! we may have a fast
BrickShelf by this time next month!!!

And what happens when geekshelf is lost, but
brickshelf exceeds its bandwidth in the near
future? Will accounts have to be terminated
until the problem is stabilized?

Why not give people an impetus to pursue
'premier memberships', which would allow the
user to upload files without moderation in
exchange for a yearly fee to support the
site? I would be most happy to pay for
a feature such as this (and know my funds
are supporting the community in some way
or another...)

I have a nice collection of files uploaded
to geekshelf already, so this is rather
saddening to me. (don't know how I'll host
these...)
