Hi,

I like to use counters to keep track of how many people visit my web pages.
I'm constantly having problems accessing the single counter that my web
provider gives me.  Also, I can't reset it to a different number.  I've
accidentally cleared it a couple of times and have no way to reset it!

Are there any providers of free web page counters out there?

Thanks

A very easy one to use, and one that is fast and reliable is NedStat,
headquartered in the Netherlands. It offers a free counter for personal
pages. I have used one for two years with only one minor complaint: 1% of
the time I check my counter it is unavailable to check the stats--but this
is so seldom.

There is also eXtreme Tracker (also from Netherlands) which offers a free
counter, in fact multiple counters. Actually, they may require a tiny ad on
your page for the free one. But if you pay something like $5 or $10 they
will give you as many as you want without ads. It is more comprehensive and
if you put one on every page of your site you can track specific page
visits. You might be able to do this with NedStat too.

In summary, NedStat gives a simpler, more streamlined statistics page, while
eXtreme tracker gives multiple pages of statistics, which takes longer to
read. I happen to use both to track my website.
