Your cannons sound neat!
Websites can be easily created for free in places like xoom.com or
geocities.com, or (the best thing IMHO) just join lugnet (if you're not a
member already) and use the awesome and easy-to-use FTX page editor that Todd
set up. Not only will you be supporting lugnet (1) but you'll be getting easy
and free pages.
As for a scanner, you might be able to scan photos at your local library, or
school (?). If your school has a scanner, you could probably access it for
free... or maybe pay a small fee. I'd say it's worth it!
