Greetings all!
I have broken ground on my latest project for my City... the twin towers! This
is going to be a long term project, so I've posted some in-progress photos on
my website at http://www.seankenney.com/lego/wtc .
There's a quick blurb about the building, and then a link to about 5 photos of
the building so far. The photos are of only the first 3 1/2 floors... but
when it's done, it should be about six feet tall. Sorry that the photos are
kind of undersaturated - I was just using a little quickcam to do the shots.
The architectural style of the World Trade Center, which I've seen described as
the "international" style common in the late 70s and early 80s, requires that
I'll need thousands of white 1x2 and 1x1 bricks for the facade. That could
take a year at least to aquire!
Anyway, let me know what you think! (Or if you've got some spare 1x2s laying
around.) :)
