I should explain... The show was almost over and I was experimenting
with the lifting limits of the crane. The flatbed trailer (that the
beams were delivered to the construction site on) was just a little too
heavy to lift. I grabbed a roll of duct tape to use as additional
counterweight. That worked and as you can see I was able to lift the
flatbed on top of the building. Unfortunately, I diddn't think about what
would happen when the crane no longer had the load of the flatbed.
The instant the flatbed rested on the building the crane fell backwards and
made a most impressive disaster that was unfortunately not caught on tape.
