color correction for decals?

Hi, all,
When scanning and printing out Lego decals,
has anyone been able to successfully get the
colors correct?
One would think that scanning in the bricks
themselves could give you enough information to
eliminate color casts due to the scanner, but
that still leaves the printer's own color cast.
