  Re: BrickJournal.com is online!

(...) 'supposed Brickworld site?' I'm not Brickworld. Also, it's not a supposed site. I suppose if I publish a magazine with a publisher as opposed to by myself, it's a supposed magazine. And all the AFOL sites that are hosted by Northstar are (...) (17 years ago, 2-Aug-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: BrickJournal.com is online!

Ondrew, I had to do some searching and talking with Near-Time to delete your account - there was a bug that was found through this in the system. BrickJournal.com is committed to working with Near-Time, as it is the e-commerce platform I chose. I (...) (17 years ago, 2-Aug-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: BrickJournal.com is online!

(...) Although I’d like to sign up and I did attempt too. I am going to wait until Brickjournal has it's own site. Initially when I signed up I was of the understanding that I was signing up for Brickjournal and Brickjournal only. This unfortunately (...) (17 years ago, 2-Aug-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) Well I signed up. If that is the next step toward getting Brick Journal to print (and the back issues) it is $20 a year well spent. It can never be said too many times, thanks for all your hard work Joe. -Mike Petrucelli (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) Charging for a PDF will be something that is a constant. I won't be able to make it free. Sorry. Again, if an printed issue is charged, a PDF will have to be charged too. Back issues are something I am interested in, but I need to have the (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) I agree, and even if you do that, it will probably not be color and almost certainly not on glossy 11x17 pages folded properly into a magazine format with binding along the edges.... Joe: What you might do is charge for the PDF when it's new, (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) Tom, I'm know:-). And I am on it - while I wanted a printed version for next issue (due out in September) things did not work out. I see your argument pretty clearly and am working toward it. The website was done first because it was faster to (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) Looks great, Joe. Congrats on the launch and for putting together such a clean, fresh looking site. The table of contents for the current issue is very handy.   Re: BrickJourna.com is online!

(...) Congratulations on expanding the scope of the magazine, Joe! I have a question about the subscription to this site. I have been looking forward to being able to subscribe to a print version of BrickJournal and have assumed it would probably be (...) (17 years ago, 31-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

(...) Yes. There are about 130,000 images that were linked to Brickshelf from all the pages on MOCpages. I've now copied all 130,000 of them over to MOCpages and they'll be linked to your pages very soon. This applies to all the images that were (...) (17 years ago, 30-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

  Brickshelf Upload Utility

I've been working on a Brickshelf upload utility similar to (URL) Flickr Uploadr>.   Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

You have said that old postings on MOCpages that use Brickshelf for image hosting will automatically have the images copied to MOCpages and the pages updated to use your hosting. Two questions about this: 1. Is this still true, now that Kevin has (...) (17 years ago, 29-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

(...) Is this true? Didn't Tim Courtney establish the LDRAW committee in 1999, well after (and due to) James Jessiman's passing in 1997? Furthermore, James was developing an open standard, he wasn't providing a service or a selling a product. These (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

(...) Hi Sean, and thank you for MOCPages. (...) Basically, I trust people. I trust people from the start. But who runs MOCPages? You and you alone? Not a team?   MOCpages? Brickshelf? What should I do?

Hi, everybody. With all that's been going on, a lot of people have been asking me things like: "what should I do?" "Should I stay on Brickshelf or move to MOCpages?" "How do I know if any of these services are safe?" Let me start by saying that (...) (17 years ago, 21-Jul-07, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.announce.mocpages, FTX) !!

Re: MOCpages, now a Brickshelf alternative

(...) You can now delete reviews that were written about your LEGO creations. It's a first step.
