Re: New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

Inventories and Scans together at last. I am really glad to see that you were able to carry the torch here Dan, thank you very much. Scott (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish)

Re: New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

(...) Wowsers, that rocks! Thanks! A suggestion I have is to integrate the scan lib into the search. If you want to find a particular set now, I think you have to search for the set inventory, then follow the link to the scan. Although you have pics (...)   Re: New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

(...) I knew I forgot to mention something! Some of the older scans were actually invalid pictures, so they didn't import cleanly. I still need to go through the ones that were rejected, and import them manually. I just found 8040, and it was one of (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish)

Re: New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

(...) That's excellent Dan! You got that up & going ultra quick, thanks! I do have a query though - I couldn't find set 8040. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a PDF because it's pretty old, and I had page 13 bookmarked because of the infamous 5x9 plate :) (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish)

It took a little bit longer than we had hoped, but the scans are now available again. We still need to add the PDF instructions, and the catalogs, but we felt that releasing what we have already would be better than waiting for everything to be (...)   Re: A new project...

(...) Nice one, but geez, yet another interview with Brendan Powell Smith ;) Just wondering though; is it intended to be a magazine for AFOLs or about AFOLs? If it's the former, there's not a lot in there that we don't know already, and if it's the (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: A new project...

(...) Yup. I'm not sure how well it'll work for a file this small, but it is exactly what it was designed for. (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: A new project...

(...) The first thing I thought when I saw this article on Slashdot is were is the torrent. I mean isn't this the situation the Bittorrent is designed to solve? Derek (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: A new project...

(...) (snip) (...) As it would figure, I forgot a person: Todd Kubo, without which we wouldn't have the ISD Build contest story. This is what I get when I post at 2 am. Many apologies. Joe ed./pub, BrickJournal (19 years ago, 24-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Joe/BrickJournal Staff, Looks like you have some professional recognition for your new publication: (URL) Unfortunately, they seem to be under the impression this magazine is published *by* Lego.
