Hey Joe, Congratulations on the finished product. It looks awesome! As with others, it was really tough to keep quiet on this. :) Looking forward to future issues and, hopefully, printed versions. Bruce (19 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

(...) The final copy looks great Joe (et al). I know that you and a few other key players have spent endless hours pulling together such a wonderful creation. Your hard work has really paid off, imo.   Re: A new project...

Very nice! It's obvious y'all put a lot of time, thought, work, effort, blood, sweat, tears, etc. into this. Just one question - what's the easiest way to turn this download into an actual, printed booklet? Do places like Kinko's offer 2-sided (...)   Re: Text cut off by images?

(...) (snip) (...) Hey, that's neat, but not intentional. I exported directly from InDesign to PDF, and I didn't go through all the settings...oops. Thanks for the explanation! Joe (19 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: Text cut off by images?

(...) Joe, I believe you have to set an option when you create the PDF to disallow copy/paste. I'm viewing the security options on my copy and it says "Content copying or extraction: allowed". And yes, I can copy text. ROSCO (19 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: Text cut off by images?

(...) I think it's a quirk, as I am using Acrobat Reader and am not having a problem reading the file. Also, since you can copy the text, that indicates something is amiss, because a user shouldn't be able to do that at all. Joe Meno Editor, (...)   Re: A new project...

(...) Hendo, that was the infamous "Bricks Magazine" or something like that. That was sometime around Dec 2002-Feb 2003, organized by someone who has completely dropped off Lugnet. Rumors abound, and likewise, nobody got their money back. The goal (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jun-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)
