Hi Todd,
I don't think there was any real harm done. Scott is right in a way, market
posts are generally more appropriate in .market.buy-sell-trade, and are not
extremely "welcome" in theme groups. OTOH, there is no written rule against
them; it is simply considered common courtesy to keep them out. Part of
LUGNETiquette, you could say.
There *is*, however, a rule (in lugnet's Terms of Service, the ToS) to keep
*auction* posts out of theme groups.
