First off I love this lego promo. TLG has hit hard with advertisement, here
in southern california there are billboard signs, radio ads, and promotional
signage at each shell station. In addition to this my son recieved a postcard
alerting him to this promotion, directly from TLG.
One question though, in each set there is a round sticker red sticker with the
set number on it. Not the official set number, but the number 1-10 of the set
among the others. I know I am explaining it poorly so here is the
explanation. The small catapult batlords set is number 6 and inside there is
a red sticker with the number 6. It is not for placement on the set, so what
is it for? Seems like a waste of resources. any ideas?

| (...) When we had the same sets here in 1998, they also contained the numbered stickers. I'm not aware of any useful purpose for them. Grahame (25 years ago, 2-May-00, to lugnet.promo)
