How much is a 6264 worth(I don't want to sell it, I just want to know how much
its worth).  I recently bought one for a dollar less than MSRP, which was mint
in box, except it was missing the canoe.  Was this a good deal?

Once Lego sets go out of production, they tend to go for their MSRP or higher
(a combination of inflation and rarity).  Not always, and dependent on
completeness and condition.

If something is missing a part, it simply is not "mint in box".  If all the
parts are in pristine condition but the box has been opened, a fair description
would be near mint, with the box, missing X part(s).

You got a reasonable deal.  You could have paid more, but you could have paid
less.  A good deal is dependent on luck or a lot of patience.
