Since people have been bidding more for brown backpacks than I pay for the
entire soldier figure, I have been getting the gray backpacks that appear in
the Star Wars speeder bike sets.  The question I have, though, is where do • the
white backpacks come from?

This has been dealt with rather comprehensively now, but on another tack, have
you considered the new Arctic backpacks?  They would seem pretty good,
particularly for some French Foreign Legion types. Obviously we could use some
new headwear, but still.....

Still baldly going.....

No, I haven't seen these yet - the Arctic stuff does nothing for me.  I liked
the Adventurers backpack as a horse pack (one on either side), but it's way too
big for a Napoleonic style soldier.

Headgear is the tough thing.  I've laid in lots of extra Morion helmets,
anticipating that problem, and they can be used for later medieval troops, but
those darn Shakos are impossible. I can skip the backpack in a pinch, but those
bald heads with a stud just don't cut it.  :-)
