Re: (MOC) 36-gun Frigate RTS LEGOMALEE

(...) A magnificent effort! The hull widening from the standard hull pieces is masterful. The fighting tops are usefully large, and the doubling of the ratlines to the tops is clever - giving the effect of a nice backward sweep. The steeper than (...) (...) Oooh...that's very, very lovely. It's one of the best extensions on that hull I've seen. The roomy fighting-tops are also marvelous. And, as Larry pointed out, "ooh, tumblehome!" (And yes, the name you gave it made me think instantly of the (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jan-05, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: (MOC) 36-gun Frigate RTS LEGOMALEE

(...) I really like it, Kurt! The sail plan and fighting tops are very realistic. I also like the boat hanging over the stern. (...) As far as I am aware, there is only one set using this baseplate. There is a Paradisa set with a somewhat similar plate. Hello! (...) I too think 6270 is the only set with this baseplate. There is a similiar (not the same!) baseplate in Paradisa set 6414 "Dolphin Point": (URL) (20 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.pirates)
