You again? :)
You bet:)

I have only actually owned two of those, the Renegade Runner and Cross
Bone Clipper.  The CBC is out, and I don't think the RR can stand up to
some of those nicer Imperial ships.  While I've owned none, I think most
people will agree that the least of the three remaining would be the AF.
So, it is a match between the IF and CC.

And I think they are really close.  I reaaaally wanted that Imperial
Flagship when I was a kid, to go with that nice SES, so I might be a bit
biased with memories of drooling over catalogs and set inserts.  I'm not
awful familiar with the CC, I only remember things such as the presence
of blue/white sails and a yellow bird.  Since I don't know both sets too
well (having owned neither) I'll have to say a tie between the Imperial
Flagship and Carribean Clipper.
I agree with that.  The CC's better for space and the IF's better for
design, so they are evenly matched.

On the topic of pirates...and this has probably been done a gazillion
times down over at lugnet.pirates (I tend to float around Star Wars
myself)...shooting cannons, arghh!  I got ahold of a few about a year
ago.  Now, as a kid, I would have been able to put these things to good
use, but now...I dunno, I just don't "play" with LEGO like that anymore.
But I still think they are awful cool :) .  I remember having the
mini-figs load my dead cannons, and then I'd have to take the cannon(s)
off to let gravity pull the 1x1 round out.  Sad stuff.  I really feel
that us in the US really missed out with these.
I back you up on that.  I remember loading the cannons on my Renegade Runner
when I was younger and having to turn the ship upside down to get it out.
Now (thanks to some people on ebay) I've got almost to many shooting cannons
(like 12 or something).  Fortunately, I still think I've got enough
kid in me to play with them:)

Hasta La Vista, Sean
