I meant to post this earlier in the week, and it just slipped my mind. 14
or so tall sailing ships will be arriving in Los Angeles Harbor Friday
(tomorrow as I write this) at 1 PM. Details can be found at:

They will be on parade (dunno if this actually involves sails hoisted)
between 1-3 pm, with ships open at dockside from 3:30 to somewhere around 6
PM. They will be on view over the weekend, and you can participate in
cannon battles for a fee.
I perfect chance to take some photos...
