I built a bireme recently. I got some good information from the Trireme
Trust web page (easy to find, hard to load.) They are the folks who crew the
Olympias, shown in color on that page. But I had no access to anything like
all those construction photos!
Great stuff there. Though it is not as encyclopedic as you led me to
believe, it is far better to have a focused set of good color photographs.
Oh wait, that "Useful Links" leads to the flood you spoke of.
