| (...) I'm not a real big Pirate-head but SAILS, from what I have seen (unless you are including them in the masts) you need the sails. | (...) Any parts that are free are important. Free is good. Cheap is good too, fut free is far fuperior. | (...) Rob: I would suggest you take a look at brickshelf.com, and check out the instructions for all the pirate, etc. ships that are there. | Do not worry about the sails too much, you can use muslin cut to the pattern of the tattered sails. Look for the following. Tall brown rigging Black base mast pieces that are approx. 4" tall ( not the 4x4plate w/base for mast) Crows nest Red or (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

I use inverse 2x2 pieces, two stacked on each other, so it kinda looks like the wood planks. if it is the right color(which i can rarely get enough of the same color) and you are not looking too close it goes with it IMO. you then take these (...)
