Re: WTB/WTT: Large 6274 Caribbean Clipper topsail

Oké, I think mail-hell will break loose but I have two (2) sets 6274 sails as spares, for sale. One set like mint, one a bit dirty, no big deal. Also lots of big and small flags. And 2 sail-sets for the BSB 6285 - one totally mint And a sail-set for (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates)

Newsflash! Pirate Ships Sail the Mighty Rails!

Check out this picture on Brickshelf: (URL) stole the idea from me though :-) (I played around with this idea at Brickfest 2000... of course I'm sure I'm not actually the first to have the idea... [which may be a sad thought in itself :-)]) (24 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun)

(...) Ok, sounds good. Of course we can still invite Steve Jackson if he wants to come on his own (hi Steve!):-) (24 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.games, lugnet.events)

Re: Weekend of LEGO Pirate Games!

(...) I think that a large event tied to a game party including Steve Jackson is dead. I would still like to get together with 6-10 people for a weekend of pirate gaming. I'll try to look for a space, but I don't know if and when I'll find something (...)   Re: Weekend of LEGO Pirate Games!

(...) Speaking of the event, are we still on or is it dead for June? (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.games, lugnet.events)

  Re: Different/exchanged heads

(...) No, but it might be the other kind of fire control, of course buckets are more suitable to that than cooking pots, but we don't have a decent minifig bucket... (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.pirates)

Re: The Black Rose Sets Sail!

(...) Hi Steve, The center section is made up of 2x2 inverted dark gray slopes. In order to hold them together I had to use a plate on both the top and bottom of the slopes for strength. Therefore the whole ship is raised a plate's worth in height (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Cutter Sails

Hi! Could anyone provide me with some scans of the Cutter Sails from Port Royal? I've just built six of them for a Pirate Game I ran on Saturday (write-up to follow), but they look a bit... Naked. Thanks. Steve (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

Re: The Black Rose Sets Sail!

(...) least it looks that way to me). From the color of the hull, it looks like you used the grey hulls from the flying time vessel. What did you use for the "center" sections? I have seen it done and have tried using 2x2 inverted slopes. Cant tell (...) (24 years ago, 27-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Green Ship MOC

(...) I would be inclined to make the only change be that the number of cannon doesn't jump. The hit points and initial crew for a battle game probably do make sense to have the jump. Of course it's a limited issue in some ways the way I will tend (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Green Ship MOC

(...) Stands to reason. But could not the larger class still be useful, if only for carrying capacity, speed, and hits to destroy? I'd be interested in hearing what the new difference would be, if any. (...) I'm glad you managed to get a bunch of (...) (24 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.gaming)
