Depends on what you mean be a lot. I have about 40 true conquistadors, but
I've drafted about 20 of the new Castles guy in breastplate and Kettle Helm,
the helmet being swapped out for the armada Morion helmet. Makes a great
armored pikeman or mounted swordsman. By using the chromed breastplate to
convert other figs along with yet more spare Morions I can probably add
another 20 at a pinch.
It's very hard to build these up. There are plenty of blue soldier lots,
and even a decent amount of red soldier lots - just throw money!
Homogeneous Armada soldier lots are virtually non-existent. Which is why at
auctions I'm always picking up the odd Morion helmet, musket, cutlass and
breastplate lot; there are a number of figures that can be pressed
(literally) into service as long as you have the right accessories. :-)
