I was convinced after seeing the set numbers on the pirate sets (7070-...) that the sets would be minifig scaled, because recent minifig-themes (orient expedition, world city) are all in the 7-series, whereas the new 4-juniors sets (formerly (...) (23 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle, FTX)

| Hi Daniel, (...) The large ship (set 7075) contains a big element (as big as a BURP) which has one or two windows in it. But it's not to tell from the picture whether this window is an extra piece or not. BTW: I would estimate the large hull (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.year.2004, lugnet.pirates)

| Hi Andrzej, (...) Since I own the latest german dealer's catalog, I can tell you that for certain: Pirates are Jack-Stone-scaled in 2004. Sets are with many large elements, but also with a few very nice parts (new pirate flags, maps on 4x4-tiles, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.general)

| There's some discussion about 2004 sets here: (URL) ran it through Babelfish.altavista.com and was dismayed that the author appears to indicate that the new Pirate sets will have Creator-style figures (Jack-Stone-like scale and design). Can someone (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.year.2004)
