This ought to be in the FAQ, and I know it's been answered before, I can't
put my hands on the post with search offline, though. Here goes.
The tangible physical stuff (a laminated card, some stickers, a printed
folder to hold them which has a password printed in it) is produced in
batches and sent out once in a while (every month or so?). You will get it
eventually, he's never forgot anyone. Some people have waited many months
but everyone gets it eventually.
You don't need that stuff to start using the membership part of the site
(creating your pages, rating sets, rating posts, etc.). All you need is your
password.
You can get that password by sending email to Todd. He answers it
sporadically. Not all email you send to Todd gets seen by Todd, he overlooks
some, or seems to or at least it appears he does.
Send email.
If you don't get an answer, wait a day or two and send it again.
If you don't get an answer, wait a day or three and send it again.
If you don't get an answer, wait a day or four and send it again.
If you don't get an answer, wait a day or five and send it again.
After 4 or 5 tries, try posting to admin.general asking that Todd check his
email for your notes to him. Invoke his entire name so his mysterious
scanner will see his name and cause him to respond. Here: "Todd Lehman",
maybe he'll see this post and respond to it.
There is no objective verifiable evidence to support all my assertions...
Note that not everything I said above is verifiable fact (like that Todd
loses emails) but it seems to be true based on observation. Some of it may
be mythos (Todd may not actually have a scanner but he does seem to catch
posts that have his name in them more often than ones that don't).
But I prefer to believe what I've said to be the case. Decide for yourself.
And believe in the power of Lehmanism, for it is nifty.
