If you've been reading lugnet.events, you might have noticed a sneaky
announcement, so here it is not so sneakily...

Tuesday, December 5, I proposed to Saranna Weller-Boardman and she accepted.
Saranna is not a LEGO fan herself, though she has been very supportive. So
far, she's only kicked the LEGO out of the bedroom, and our discussions of
the future of my home continue to include a LEGO room. She's even interested
in attending the expo part of BrickFest PDX 2007 and has suggested she would
help me man a brick bazaar booth.

We even now have a date for the wedding: August 18, 2007 in the Salmon
Street Sanctuary of the First Unitarian Church in Portland Oregon.

Frank

(...) Congratulations, Frank and Saranna! A LEGO-tolerant NLSO is a "keeper" for sure! Remember that having a "LEGO room" is usually beneficial to *all* parties. (The trick is confining it to just one room.) May you share many happy anniversaries! (18 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.people)

(...) As James Stacey would say: "The cool people all get married on July 24th" But hey, nobody's perfect. :) Congrats! I wish you both the best. May you always have the three big 'L's Love, Laughter and LEGO! --Anthony (18 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.people)

(...) Congratulations to both of you! I'll second Chris: a LEGO room is a good thing all around, and confining it is tricky. Steve (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.people)
  Re: I'm Engaged

(...) Congrats sir! My ex-wife was a tolerant NSO from the get-go and then didn't get to partake of the money my legos brought in after the divorce (of course, no reason to even mention the D word around someone just engaged ;-)). Good luck with (...) (18 years ago, 12-Dec-06, to lugnet.people, FTX)
