Everyone,
For the sake of rememberance, I was looking through all the posts from 2 years
ago. I am still in awe at the strength and tightness of this
community-at-large. I constantly find myself enchanted by the wide and vast
variety of everyone here - people of all races, creeds, occupations,
upbringings, religions, you name it. IRL, if we didn't have this common hobby,
we probably would pass each other on the streets and not give it a second
thought. But there's something special about this community.
Not only has it helped me and others through personal crises and hard times, but
just pouring over the posts from 9/11/01, I can't help but feel a huge swell of
pride. Pride for this community. I figure this is an appropriate day as any to
basically give an 'open letter comment'.
I love this community and its people. It's a special thing to have people that
you don't know, but still do. Everyone here knows what I mean. And when even
greater friendships can be formed within the Lugnet ranks, that's even better.
One big happy family (that does occasionally have tifs :-)
Just wanted to share a bit and reflect. Thanks for listening.
